“And this is eternal
life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have
sent.” (John 17:3)
Reflection
The Good News is that eternal life is not just “pie in the
sky”! It is a present reality!
Our Mission Statement at Concordia
Lutheran Church
in Duluth comes
from the Apostle Paul: “to know . . . Christ Jesus and the power of his
resurrection” (Philippians 3:10). To know Christ is to know God. If we can
believe and trust in what Jesus says in our verse for today, that is eternal life. It begins here and
now. What more could we want?!
Prayer
Gracious God, I want to know Christ Jesus and the power of
his resurrection. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
